In September 2023, Interfreight Engineering Co., Ltd. was selected as the Exclusive Nominated Forwarder for the Malaysia ZLNG EPC project awarded to the JGC-Samsung Heavy Industries consortium. With this, Interfreight Engineering Co., Ltd. is appointed to handle a total of over 77,000 F/T of cargo transportation until the early 2025, when the project concludes.

The EPC project named ZLNG is the third FLNG project of PETRONAS, the Malaysian state-owned energy company.
Once completed, this FLNG is expected to contribute to addressing the commercialization issues of gas off the coast of Sabah, Malaysia, by increasing PETRONAS's LNG production by 4.7 million tons.

 

 

말레이시아 ZLNG 프로젝트 (JGC-삼성중공업 컨소시엄) 물류계약 수주

 

2023년 9월 인터프레이트 엔지니어링㈜은 JGC-삼성중공업 컨소시엄이 수주한 말레이시아 ZLNG EPC 프로젝트의 Exclusive Nominated Forwarder로 선정되었다. 이로써 인터프레이트 엔지니어링㈜은 프로젝트가 종료되는 2025년초까지 총 77,000 F/T(Freight Ton) 이상의 화물 운송을 전담하여 수행할 예정이다.

ZLNG로 명명된 이번 EPC 프로젝트는 발주처인 말레이시아 국영 에너지기업 PETRONAS의 세 번째 FLNG(소형부유식 액화천연가스설비) 프로젝트로, 완공되면 PETRONAS의 LNG 생산량을 470만 Ton으로 늘림으로써 말레이시아 사바 연안의 가스 상업화 문제를 해결하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대되고 있다.
