IFE (Interfreight Engineering Co., Ltd.) has been selected as the logistics service provider for the electric arc furnace (EAF) construction project as POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks, which is being executed by POSCO E&C. Starting with the first bulk vessel shipment in April, IFE is scheduled to transport a total 15,000F/T (Freight Ton) of project cargo by the end of this year. POSCO announced that, through the construction of this new EAF, the company plans to gradually establish a swift and competitive low-carbon production system.

IFE(Interfreight Engineering Co., Ltd.)는 포스코E&C가 시공하는 포스코 광양제철소 전기로 신설 프로젝트의 물류수행사로 선정돼 프로젝트 물류를 수행하고 있다. IFE는 지난 4월 벌크선 1항차 물량 운송을 시작으로, 올해 말까지 총 15,000F/T(Freight Ton)의 물량을 운송할 예정이다. 포스코는 이번 전기로 신설을 통해 신속하고 경쟁력 있는 저탄소 생산체제를 단계적으로 구축해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
